MATT SMITHMatt Smith's Doctor was the most youthful looking Doctor of all with an excitable childlike personality which can give the impression that he is not as powerful and dangerous as he really was, in some cases he was quite ruthless. PETER CAPALDIPeter Capaldi played the Doctor as an older, sterner character. He is tougher round the edges, but still ultimately trying to be a good person. Much more like the older Doctors. What was particularly sad is that such a talentedf actor was given such terrible scripts. Peter Capaldi could have been one of the best Doctors if he had not been let down by the writers.
