#10 - Peter Capaldi

It really pains me to start this top 10 with Peter Capaldi as he should be far higher up this list than position 10. So, why isn't he? The answer is nothing to do with the actor, who is a strong performer. It has everything to do with the scripts and the creeping dead hand of ideology manifesting in a slow transition from good scripts at the beginning to awful scripts that take away the will to live towards the end. A real shame, as given the right material Peter Capaldi could have been at the top of this list!
