#7 - Porridge

Porridge sees national treasure Ronnie Barker in arguably his most acclaimed role, career criminal Norman Stanley Fletcher of Muswell Hill in London.  We join Norman as he's serves his latest stretch, in HMS Prison Slade, for trying to steal an articulated Lorry.  Joining Norman and also doing "porridge" are a host of brilliantly cast and played inmates including cell mate Godber (Richard Beckinsale), disgraced dentist Harris (Ronald Lacey) & the senile Blanco Webb (David Jason) as they try and score daily "mini-victories" over the prison officers, in particular the head prison officer Mr MacKay (Fulton MacKay).
