Personally, I don't really celebrate it. I do enjoy having the time off work, I do enjoy the chocolate and of course I enjoy spending the extra time doing something I enjoy, such as quality time with friends and famill as well as working on the Eye of Harmony.

You'll be delighted to know that I am sticking with my running New Year's Resolution and I'm enjoying it more. I went running this morning and feel quite justified in eating my chocolate egg this afternoon! Yum.

I do have a bit of a tricky decision to make today. There is an Easter special episode of Dr Who featuring the Sea Devils. Now, the Sea Devils are one of my favourites from the classic era and so part of me is really keen to see a modern view. I have been less than impressed with Chris Chibnall's dreadful writing and Jodie Whitaker's dreadful portrayal of the Doctor, so do I (1) take a gamble and watch it and risk being let down, or (2) should I just give it a miss in the knowledge that it will probably be awful. Tough call .....

 

UPDATE - Decided that I had to give Dr Who a chance so I watched it. What a mistake, it was dire. It was dreadfully boring and had no real plot at all, just some kinda of mashed up little mermaid and pirates of the caribbean. Unfortunately, yet another example of Chris Chibnall's absolutely dreadful writing.
