The annocement has been made for the new doctor, a chap I have never heard of called Ncuti Gatwa. Now just because I have never heard of him is neither here or there, but I am concerned.

Why am I concerned? I am concerned whether this chap has been appointed based on talent or whether he was appointed due to political idealogy, much like Jodie Whittaker. If he's really the best person for the job then great, I will look forward to the rebirth of one of my favourite TV shows after the wasteland years of the 13th Doctor. If he is just a continuation of the current politics before talent idealogy, then this will soon become apparent too. I guess it's just a wait and see ...
