In the UK we are experiencing a heat wave. In the next few days we could exceed the highest temperature ever recorded in the UK of 38.7C (about 102F). Now I am sure my many readers may laugh at this as they experience temperatures far higher, but and it's a big but. The UK is not used to it. Our houses are designed to keep heat in and very few have air conditioning. This means that at night the temperture inside the house is uncomfortable, to say the least.

The other big event underway is the election of our new leader. As of today we are down to a choice of 5 people. This will be whittled down to a choice of two and then it will go to a vote by the party members.

I have been neglecting this site for a while, really must try better.
