30 January 2023 - Looking for a new hobby?

It is the beginning of the new year, 2023, and while it's cold and wet out I can't help thinking of starting something new, a new hobby perhaps. The only problem is that I haven't a clue what new hobby to try!

It's been suggest that I give fishing a try. Now I have never been fishing, never tried tried or even been with somebody that was fishing. To be honest, it doesn't exactly fill me with excitement! However, the person that recommended it said that it is incredibly relaxing and moment of excitement. I'm not keen, but the idea of lots of relaxing does sound quite good.

I don't want to buy all the kit, so I think I'll go and join my friend and see what happens. I can be a bit accident prone and the picture about made me think, if anything is going to happen, then this could be yet another way I could embarrass myself.I guess, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, as my grandmother would say.
