1 February 2023 - Sherlock Holmes

I have been doing a lot of driving recently and on long journeys I do enjoy listening to audiobooks. Currently I am working through the complete set of Sherlock Holmes stories. They are amazingly good and are highly recommended

Since starting my Sherlock Holmes audiobooks, I started watching the lovely Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes. It's so amusing to watch the TV episode after listening to the audiobook. There isn't a single story I don't like.

After getting into Holmes, I decided to investigate feature films too and wow, those old films starring Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce are just awesome. I have watched all of them now and there wasn't a single one that I didn't like!

Audiobooks are fantastic for long car journeys, but for me the best TV Sherlock Holmes story features Jeremy Brett and the best films feature Basil Rathbone. What do you think, am I right?
